Maha Khan Phillips was born in Karachi, Pakistan in 1976. She is a freelance financial journalist, and currently lives in London with her husband and son. In 2009, OUP in Pakistan published her children’s novel, The Mystery of the Aagnee Ruby. Her first novel for adults, Beautiful From this Angle was published by Penguin India in September 2010. Her novel The Mystery of the Aagnee Ruby is a part of Beaconhouse School System curriculum designed for grade 6.Recently, Gulshan Middle I got the opportunity to have a video conference session with Maha Khan Phillips. The session was highly interactive and opened various horizons for students. Students were able to soothe their queries regarding the novel. The session opened a new chapter of learning for students.
